Whether you are a fresh newcomer looking for information and support to facilitate your settlement in BC, or a resident willing to start a new career, there is an association for each of your needs, which can provide you with French services.

Create or expand a company

Are you an entrepreneur or a confirmed businessman or businesswoman? Go to the Chambre de Commerce Francophone de Vancouver. The CCF supports Francophone, and Francophile entrepreneurs through business and networking events, conferences, and training courses. You can also give a call to the Société de Développement Économique de la Colombie-Britannique, whose purpose is to gather and provide information on everything you need to know to run your business.

Education and Cultural events

The Francophone culture thrives in Vancouver, with no fewer than five organizations that hold events, promote education in French and provide French language classes! Alliance Française promotes the French language and culture across the world through events and courses. Vancouver en Français is dedicated to bring together French and Canadian communities and share their cultures.

Do you want to hear a performance from a Francophone band? Have a look at the Centre’s website, promoting performances by Francophone or Francophile artists, as well as education in French. Or The Conseil Culturel et Artistique, the provincial advocate for Francophone arts and culture, bringing together Francophone, and Francophile artists and associations.

Employment and career growth

Collège Éducacentre’s goal is to meet francophonie Canada's training needs, creating fairs relating to employment, career, immigration, education, and professional training for individuals.

Rights and access to justice

When it comes to getting legal advice, you may prefer having it in your native language. That is why the non-profit organization Association des Juristes d’Expression Française de la Colombie-Britannique is dedicated to Consulate’s responsibility is to protect French expatriates from local authorities within the limits of legislation. Réseau-Femmes Colombie-Britannique defends Francophone women’s rights, and interests, and helps them to develop their potential.

The Conseil Jeunesse Francophone de la Colombie-Britannique promotes, develops, and represents the interests of Francophones, and Francophiles youth in British Columbia. The Fédération des Parents Francophones de Colombie-Britannique brings together, represents, supports, and equips Francophone parents to guide them in their educational role.
