Our promise

Our presentations will provide useful tips on job search, work-related issues, and Canadian culture. A specialist keynote speaker will give a presentation and facilitates a discussion with the audience.

It is also a time to brainstorm ideas, share experiences, and learn from each other. At the end of the event, people are encouraged to nurture their network in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Volunteers will be present at each event to answer your questions.

                                                                  ---FRENCH SPEAKING EVENT ---

Every month, BC Talents finds the best speakers to help you achieve the career of your dreams and thrive in your professional goals. Did you know that there are 80% chances you will get your next job through your network? Odds are your network didn't follow you all the way to Vancouver, but fortunately informal interviews are part of the Canadian culture and offer a great opportunity to develop your network.

Victoria Spitzer immigrated to Vancouver 7 years ago with her background in human resources. She had to develop her network here to continue growing her career.

On May 7th, come meet Victoria and the BC Talents team to learn how to approach informal interviews and take advantage of it. We will discuss how to get an informal interview, how to conduct it and how to prepare the next step.

Register now and join the French speakers' community at 6:30 pm to hear about their pieces of advice, challenges and successes.
