This position is in our Dealer Services division. Dealer Services offers protection products for all vehicle types, including tailored solutions to meet our customers’ individual needs. Dealer Services' products are sold out of automotive dealerships, the people who work in those dealerships are our business partners. Our business administrators provide systems support to our business partners and to internal stakeholders, assisting to develop solutions to meet their evolving needs. Our business partners’ needs vary in complexity and can require simple or detailed solutions, so efficient and effective requirements gathering is paramount. You’ll spend some of your time on the phone troubleshooting with our business partners, but most of your time will be spent on setting up accounts for system access and working with our Application Support & Development Department to work on system maintenance, new system functionality & reporting and production issues/bugs. You’ll draw up, carry out and validate functional, integrated and/or systems tests, from test case to results.
To be successful, you’ll need exceptional communication skills so you can discover what the problem is, before working towards a solution. You’ll be on a constant learning curve as you become more familiar with the system and as different situations arise which require unique solutions. Our business administrators work in an Agile environment, so previous experience with the methodology and a basic understanding of SQL would be an asset. If you don’t have experience with either that’s okay, as long as you grasp concepts quickly and are eager to learn!
This role is suitable for secondary or tertiary education graduates with a collaborative approach, a good attitude and who possess exceptional interpersonal skills. We're looking for people who are available for at least 3 days per week (21 hours).
Education: high school diploma, bachelor's degree would be an asset
Experience:
1 to 2 years' related experience
previous experience working in an Agile environment, would be an asset
previous experience with Jira, would be an asset
Skills:
bilingual in French and English
intermediate Microsoft Word & Excel
basic knowledge of SQL, would be an asset
