This position is accountable for providing power monitoring and energy management services to our customers.
Power Solutions Canada enables our customers to gain clear visibility of their energy use and in turn generate solid measurable energy savings as well as increased power system reliability. This position is accountable for providing power monitoring and energy management services to our customers. This includes working with the sales team to identify customer needs in order to provide engineered, integrated solutions. This is a “face of Schneider” position as work is generally performed at our customer’s sites and as such a strong customer management focus is key to this role.
Position combines field and administrative work.
Domestic travel is expected to be 15-25%.
Commission and start up energy meters.
Deploy energy monitoring software and upgrades
Customize and deploy energy management solutions including its various modules.
Execute projects and ensure timely response to customers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Troubleshoot SQL server, ASP.NET, and other Windows components.
Knowledge of power monitoring systems and power distribution system (LV and MV)
Provide technical support to help our sales channels to promote energy management solutions.
Provide technical training to customers.
Prepare commissioning reports.
Understanding and exposure to Power Factor Correction and Power Quality methods
SCADA, Controls and PLC experience
Support new service offerings.
Share technical knowledge with peers.
Bilingual (English and French) an asset.
Ability to work effectively in a group or independently.
PMP Certified is an asset.
Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
Strong network troubleshooting skills and database experience (Microsoft SQL server).
Knowledge of various industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP, OPC)
General programming skills (Visual Basic, C++, C#, etc) is an asset.
Experience with VMWare an asset
Exposure to a process oriented and driven organization.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
